Trade Openness and Environmental Pollution Management: Push or Pull?

Foreign trade, as one of the troika China's economic development, plays a vital role, bringing great benefits to country through but also accompanied by series environmental problems such export industry's carbon emissions increasing year and problems. Therefore, explore impact trade openness on pollution control mechanism has practical theoretical significance. Based relevant theories literature, this paper first combed opening found entry point. Then, based panel data 30 provinces in China from 2007 2017, explored whole eastern, central western regions China, introduced technological innovation intermediary variables build an model. The empirical results show that relationship between level industrial wastewater is inverted "N", "U" with sulphur dioxide negative linear soot emissions; will exert mediating effect variable.
